In Karen's words: My background is in Natural Therapies and Psychology, however, in the early 90’s my studies were interrupted through illness. After being diagnosed with clinical depression, anxiety, panic attacks along with a number of other physical and psychological problems that eventually led to a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

The next 14 years were spent ill in bed and looking for ways to cure myself. There were many answers and helpful therapies to be found, however, the use of NLP Therapy put me on the road to recovery more so than anything other therapy. NLP is such a powerful treatment , it teaches you the best way to heal yourself and live true to yourself.

Soon after learning these new skills recovery came very quickly and once again I was able to work again.

NLP also kept me sane after a painful divorce, it helped me put the past behind me and look to the future with hope. That is why I decided to train and work in this progressive field. Being ill for so long really knocked my confidence in myself and my future, a voice within would say,” you can’t do that, you don’t have the energy you’re depressed and ill”, life after NLP. Therapy has taught me how to release those old limiting beliefs and live with confidence again.

Karen is certified as a Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy and Sequential Mind Technology. She has trained to the highest level with leading NLP trainer Laureli Blyth, at the Worldwide institute of NLP.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a proven psychological approach to modeling human excellence. NLP is a powerful form of brief psychotherapy that taps in to the subconscious, breaking destructive behavior patterns and enabling transformation to take place.

NLP is often referred to as the manual for running our mind and emotions. The manual we would have perhaps liked to receive early in life.

As much as 95% of our behaviour is patterned, programmed, and therefore predictable. About the Sessions

Master NLP Practitioners support individuals (adults, teenagers, children) and couples.

Initial consultations are for 90 minutes. The session will begin with the therapist taking a thorough case history to establish the issues and your desired outcome.

Subsequent sessions are for often for 60 minutes. The number of sessions required varies and is often agreed at the initial session with the client. The number of sessions is generally between six and twelve.

The therapist will often use a combination of NLP and hypnosis techniques as appropriate, to help you create the changes you desire.
